If you’re into stats – this article is for you! If you ever wondered what we get up to and how many young people we’ve been working with – look no further.

During the 2021 WYP election we worked with 33,000 young people. That’s enough to fill the O2 arena twice (almost)!

Approximately 8,400 young people have so far taken part in our WYP surveys, and 4,000 young people responded to our committee surveys.

From its inception, 16,000 young people (aged 11-18) registered and voted in both elections (2018 and 2021).

We also worked with 13,600 young people over social media and made 250,000 online impressions! That’s enough people reached to fill the biggest stadium in the world (Narenda Modi Stadium with a capacity of 132,000) almost twice over!

120 young people can call themselves current or former Welsh Youth Parliament Members!

We have also worked with 21 partner organisations since 2018. From Barnardo's to GISDA, Talking Hands, NDCS (National Deaf Children s Society) – see the full list of our current partner organisations here.

Not bad ey?!
