Biography

Candidate Statement: I am a Welsh queer 15 year old who uses any pronouns. I am a creative and a very family oriented person and I consider the GISDA LGBTQ+ Youth Club as a part of my extended family. GISDA was established to provide shelter and support to vulnerable homeless young people in Gwynedd and I am committed to represent all of our young people’s voices across GISDA.

I am an active young person and have arranged and participated in protests on climate change and mental health and have also addressed my school on issues concerning LGBTQ+ and POC history, LGBTQ+ sex education and other matters. Involving my fellow pupils’ voices in that process was important to me. I also organize an activism group called The Northern Youth Protesters.

Apart from protests, fighting for what's right within the walls of the Senedd is also very valuable and important. I am looking forward to this experience and I am very honoured to have been chosen.

My three key topics are a new diverse and inclusive curriculum, improving youth mental health services and to form a climate emergency plan for youths.
