Greta Evans

Greta was a Member of the first Welsh Youth Parliament from 2018 to 2021.

The following was her candidate statement for election to the first Welsh Youth Parliament:

My name is Greta Evans. I'm fifteen years old and I live in the west of Cardiff.

I am currently in year 11 at Ysgol Plasmawr, and I'm studying German, French and Geography as part of my GCSEs.

I am very interested in politics, and I enjoy playing the harp and playing tennis in my spare time. I believe that it is vital that young people's voices are heard on national political issues, so it would be an honour to be a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament to represent the Urdd and the younger generation's voice in Wales.
