Candidate Statement: I have
been a loyal member of the Urdd all my life and have taken advantage of all the
opportunities offered, including Eisteddfodau, sports, camps, courses and
tours. I have won a number of medals at the Urdd National Eisteddfod for stage
competitions and arts and crafts.
I feel that I have extensive
knowledge of the work of the Urdd and its influence on young people and I would
like the opportunity to represent this important movement on the Welsh Youth
Parliament. I will be a strong, reliable and hard-working representative.
I am an intelligent and
conscientious person who always gives 100%. I can communicate confidently both
orally and in writing. I'm willing to listen to other people's perspectives and
communicate their feelings.
I have a good general knowledge
of the issues affecting Wales today and am keen to use this knowledge to make a
positive difference.
The Urdd has helped me in a
number of different ways and I would like to give something back and help other
young people and future generations.
