Candidate Statement: Hello I'm Lex Moore, I go to Ysgol Y
Creuddyn and I'm in year 10. I am a member of my school council and Conwy Youth
Council where I've learnt skills that will assist me in the Welsh Youth
Parliament. I'm good at debating and coming up with unique ideas and making
plans. I am well informed of what is going on in my local area due to my
connections to Conwy Youth Council, school council, Conwy Youth Service and
some members of the Conwy Council. I'm imaginative and inventive but I'm a realist
with the knowledge to achieve almost anything I'm passionate about. I've had
additional experience by going to the Conwy Council Scrutiny meetings where
I've been able to see how adults deal with the issues facing our county, giving
me experience and a unique prospective. I'm good at combining ideas to form a
solid plan. I'm passionate about observing how other countries deal with these
issues, especially ones similar to Wales' issues. I want to incorporate foreign
ideas to put Wales on even footing.
