Candidate Statement: My name is Ruby Cradle, and I am
enthusiastic about joining the Welsh Youth Parliament, due to the fact that I
have foreseen the positive outcomes and beneficial repercussions seen to young
people in Wales due to the efforts of the last Youth Parliament and would like
to continue their successful efforts and accomplished work.
I would attempt to consult with young people in my area
through previous embodied resources such as social media, school programmes and
through the programmes and events ran by the youth parliament itself. I believe
that people should consider voting for me because I would be an optimistic and
motivated ambassador for the young people of my constituency, and will do
everything I can to represent young peoples needs and ensure that their voices
are heard at a national level.
I have represented my year group over the last six years by
being an active member of the schools council and eco-council, as well as
becoming a prefect this year. I believe that my experience in these roles would
contribute towards being an effective and conscientious representative for the
members of my constituency due to the several different skills that I have
developed.
