Candidate statement: My name is
Isabella Flye, I’m 15 years old and live in Rhondda Cynon Taf. I am passionate
about helping others and making sure young people have a voice in decisions
that affect them.
I would describe myself as kind
and supportive, and I always try to be there for people when they need someone
to talk to. I am a good listener and enjoy hearing different viewpoints and
experiences. In my free time, I enjoy reading, as it helps me learn new things
and develop my imagination. I also love going on trips with my youth club,
where I can meet new people, have new experiences, and build confidence. One of
the things I enjoy most is being the voice of young people and representing
their opinions and ideas.
The issues that are most
important to me are ensuring equal opportunities for all young people, raising
awareness of the opportunities available to them, and supporting young people
to become the best versions of themselves. I believe every young person should
feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their potential.
