Candidate Statement: Hello! My name is Celyn Richards, I am
16 years old and come from St Clears, Carmarthen. I am a pupil at Ysgol Gyfun
Gymraeg Bro Myrddin, and have just started sixth form. For my A levels, I am
studying English literature, Welsh and politics. I really like the social life
of the school, and I’m part of the choir, and have also had the opportunity to
compete in many competitions such as Public Speaking and the Eisteddfod. My
interests include singing, playing the piano. I am also a member of the
Hafodwenog aelwyd, and a member of Penybont young farmers' club. I have been a
member of the young farmers for 5 years now, and have had a variety of
opportunities. I am vice-chair of the county Youth forum, and chair at Welsh
level.
