Candidate Statement: The privilege of representing you in
the Youth Parliament would enable me to voice concerns and oversee changes that
are relevant to me and many others across
Newport East. Sitting on the Newport Youth Council, I fully understand
the specific issues and ambitions of young people in Newport. I am aware of
what worries you the most. I myself live more rurally thus allowing me to
relate with a much wider perspective.
Representing you as your elected official would mean
campaigning for the change we need. Change in the form of making transport
cheaper and more accessible, encouraging young people to preserve the
environment, and supporting young people’s mental and physical health. Any
queries or news would be via an Instagram or Email account. A vote for me is a
vote for realistic progress.
