Your candidates have been announced and now it’s time to get ready to vote!
For candidates, this is a great time to start planning your election campaign and preparing resources to tell other young people why you should have their vote.
In the lead up to the election, here are all the key dates you need to know:
Register to Vote
- Ensure you are registered to vote! If you are 11-17 years old and live in Wales, you have until 20 November to register, so you can vote for your chosen candidate.
Voting Opens!
- Voting opens on Monday 4 November and will close on Thursday 21 November. Once you’re registered, we will send you a reminder to make sure you get your vote in on time.
Election Results
- We will announce the new Members of our third Welsh Youth Parliament during the week of 2 December.
First Meetings
- The first meeting of the third Welsh Youth Parliament will be held online during the week of 9 December.
- We will welcome all candidates to their first regional meetings on Saturday 25 January 2025.
First Plenary
- The first plenary meeting of all Members will be held from Friday 21 – Sunday 23 February 2025.
