Annual Reports and Accounts 2025-26

Our Annual Report and Accounts

We serve the Senedd to help ensure its long-term success as a strong, accessible, inclusive, and forward-looking Parliament—that delivers effectively for the people of Wales.

Our Annual Report and Accounts sets out how we’ve progressed the Senedd Commission’s priorities under our strategic goals.

Alongside performance highlights and achievements, the report offers a year-in-review: how decisions were made, how resources were used, and how we’ve been held to account.

The accounts—produced in line with HM Treasury guidance and certified by the Auditor General for Wales—form a substantial part of the report.

Over the past year the Commission has worked at unprecedented pace to ensure that all necessary preparations are in place to welcome 96 Senedd Members following the election in May.
The ambitious and challenging Siambr expansion project was completed on schedule, meaning that Members now have a fit-for-purpose space designed to stand the test of time.

Measuring progress, preparing for change

Performance analysis

We strive to provide outstanding parliamentary support, keep citizens at the heart of what we do, and use resources sustainably.

This year’s Senedd election saw one of the biggest changes since the National Assembly came into existence in 1999, as the Senedd increased from 60 to 96 Members.

Take a closer look at what we have achieved this year, and how we are preparing for the Seventh Senedd.
